I'm having some tendonitis trouble in my drawing arm, so thanks for your patience!

So with the injury, I've been giving myself more mandatory breaks.  With that, I started a few anime series this week.

I saw the first episode of Seven Deadly Sins on Netflix. I wasn't a big fan. I may give it another go. I just didn't like any of the characters. Also, boob groping an oblivious girl is a quick way to turn me off to a show

I also saw the first episode of Amagi Brilliant Park which was hilarious from beginning to end. We're going to have to finish that one.

I saw a few episodes of Gangsta and I really like how it's leading me through the world.

I also saw Fate /Stay Night and was totally lost. It wasn't until I was finished that I realized it's the sequel to another series called Fate / Zero. It's definitely an interesting one though!

I'm currently watching through Rin-ne which is Rumiko Takahashi's new series. I have a soft place in my heart for Takahashi. I'm enjoying Rin-ne so far. For anyone who's not familiar with Rumiko Takahashi's stuff, her work is popular for having interesting premises but they go on for really long and they're riddled with annoying running gags [my least favorite being the endless misunderstandings]. Such anime include but are not limited to Ranma 1/2, Maison Ikkoku, Urusei Yatsura, and Inuyasha.

Rin-ne had been free of that. I said to myself "Wow, this is a Takahashi anime where they have all the things I love about her work [the comedy, the fun premise, the cute characters] without all of the things I hate!"

Then, the very next minute, one of the characters walks in on two characters holding hands, and the guy says "it isn't what it looks like!"

*sigh* so close

Well, ya can't win them all.
